The first overnight stay away from home can feel bigger for you than for your dog. A little preparation goes a long way — both for their comfort and your peace of mind.
Pack their regular food in daily portions. Sudden diet changes are the number one cause of upset tummies during a boarding stay, so stick with what their gut already knows.
Bring one familiar comfort item — an old t-shirt of yours, their favourite blanket, or a well-loved chew. Familiar smells calm nervous pups faster than any new toy.
Share the little things: how they like to be called, whether they're food-motivated, if they're shy around bigger dogs. The more we know, the more your dog feels seen.
And finally — trust the process. We'll send daily updates, and most dogs settle in within a few hours of arrival.
